I’m No Prisoner of Time was written after taking a 10-day Dhamma meditation course. Expanding on the record’s theme of time, it examines how we can get easily caught up in the past and future and as a result, lose our present self. It features, most prominently of all the songs, the ongoing metaphor in the album of thoughts & moods as natural structures & passing weather.

Through deepest wells of my memory
Carving through the tangling of roots
